Hey everyone! My organization has about 2000 endpoints, with 1800 being workstations managed by Intune and the other 200 being servers. Currently, we're using WSUS for patching, but I'm on the lookout for a more robust solution that can handle third-party applications, since I believe Intune or Azure Arc can't deploy them. Am I mistaken about that? We're considering whether to go for a dedicated Patch Management tool or an RMM tool that can manage everything. Any suggestions? I'd also love to hear if we can utilize what we already have, as our Service Desk team is pretty understaffed.

I've been using Action1 and really like it! It's not a traditional RMM, but it does have some remote access features. Plus, it’s free for your first 200 endpoints, so you can test it out without any commitment.
Intune can actually deploy quite a range of apps, including third-party ones, though it might not offer full patch management like you’re looking for. For true patch management, I recommend using PatchMyPC with Intune, or tools like NinjaRMM which have been reliable for many users. They can help keep your software up to date easily!
Just to clarify, I'm looking for something that can manage all updates for third-party software seamlessly, like Google Chrome and Adobe. RMM might be the way to go.
