I'm new to building PCs and could really use some help! I've spent a few hours researching prices and honestly, I'm shocked by how high they are. I'm specifically interested in advice on parts, particularly given the current market, especially with RAM prices. I want to ensure I'm getting good value and reliability for my money. I'd appreciate any detailed suggestions on what I should add, replace, or improve in my build and the reasons behind those choices. Here's what I'm considering for my setup:

- GPU: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 5070 Ti
- CPU: AMD RYZEN 7 9800X 3D
- Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING B650E-PLUS
- RAM: Crucial Pro DDR5 RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL36
- SSD: Lexar NM790 1TB SSD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe7400MB/s 6500MB/s
- Power Supply: TUF Gaming 850W Gold
- AIO: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO
- Case: Phanteks XT Pro Ultra ATX

I'm located in the UK and am open to all suggestions, even about the case! Thanks in advance for your help!

If you're looking to save money, consider the 9070 XT instead of the 5070 Ti. I've seen the XFX Swift going for around £630, which is significantly cheaper than the Asus variant that's nearly £1000 but offers similar performance.

But if the 5070 Ti drops to around £750-800, would that change your recommendation?

I’m not well-versed in graphics cards. Can you explain XFX and which card is better - the 9070 or 5070?

Here's a link I found for the RX 9070 XT. What do you think? https://box.co.uk/rx-97tswf3b9-xfx-swift-radeon-rx9070xt-16gb?source=aw&sv1=affiliate&sv_campaign_id=259955&awc=100685_1769513196_c0697c4a99ee5cf36439df40852ec9f0

I suggest switching your RAM to something with a lower latency, like CL30. This is especially important for gaming performance. Just make sure the price difference is worth it!

BuildMasterX -

That advice is quite old; back when the price difference for a 32GB kit was minimal. Nowadays, the price for CL30 can skyrocket.

RAMExpert92 -

True, but have you seen the recent trends? Prices can vary a lot; sometimes it’s just an extra £150-200 for CL30.
