I'm considering upgrading from my PS5 to a PC for gaming since I mainly play Fortnite and some story-driven games. I want to achieve at least 300 fps with good performance and graphics, but my budget is around £600 (about $650). I'm not very knowledgeable about PC gaming, so I'm hoping for some help or advice on building a setup that can last a long time. Any suggestions?

Reaching 300 fps with good graphics on a £600 budget is pretty tough, to be honest. If you're really focused on performance, maybe consider reaching out to your eSports team for some extra funding! It's a big ask with that budget, though.
Check out these build suggestions: for something slightly over budget, there's a great upgrade path here: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/y8Z2XR. But if you want to stay in budget, look at this decent build: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/8tCrZc. You'll likely need to add more storage later on, but it’s a solid start!
Thanks! I’ll definitely consider upgrading over time.
If you're open to used parts, you can definitely piece together a decent build within your budget. Just make sure to compare prices before you buy anything used to ensure you're getting a good deal!
Thanks for the tip, I'll be sure to check that out!
Also, do you have a monitor that can support the framerate you're aiming for? It's super important to have that covered for a smooth gaming experience!

Lol, right? It's a lot to expect for that price!
