Hey everyone! I'm planning to upgrade my CPU, motherboard, and RAM so that I can pass my current setup down to my kids. Right now, I've got an AMD 5950X on an Asrock X570 Taichi, with a couple of G Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB DDR4-4000 sticks. My gaming rig also has an RTX 3090 and three 4TB NVMe drives. For my new setup, I'm thinking about going with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and an Asrock X870 Riptide WiFi—mainly because I like the look and the layout of the M.2 ports. However, I'm a bit confused when it comes to RAM. I'm looking for something in the range of 3000-3800MHz, ideally 2x48GB sticks. If anyone has suggestions from this shopping site, I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks!

Honestly, for gaming, 32GB of RAM is usually plenty. You might want to look into getting some 6000MHz CL30 memory instead, as it can provide better performance compared to slower options. Just saying, you might not need as much RAM as you're aiming for unless you're playing really demanding games and multitasking heavily.
Thanks for your input! I do play a game called Planetary Annihilation, and it can eat up RAM with massive solar systems and lots of units. Do you think there's a significant performance difference between CL30 and CL32? The only CL30 option I found is from a brand I’m not too fond of, while I prefer the FURY Renegade at CL32.
