Looking for Recommendations on a Good AM5 Motherboard

Hey everyone! I'm on the hunt for a solid AM5 motherboard to upgrade from my current B650 setup. I have a 5070 ti GPU, but I'm planning to upgrade to a 5080 super when it releases, and possibly a 5090 by New Year's if that falls through. Ideally, I would like a motherboard that features at least two SSD slots, but I don't want to break the bank—so no options in the $750-$1000 range, please. Thanks for your help!

You should check out the Gigabyte B850 Eagle or the MSI MAG X670E. If you have a base B650, consider the ASUS TUF Gaming B650E for PCIe Gen 5 support, or the ASUS B850 if you're looking for good performance at a reasonable price.

What's making you want to upgrade from your B650? If it's just for PCIe5, you might be overthinking it—your current setup should still perform well! But if you're looking for more SSD slots, that's a valid reason to look for an upgrade.

I highly recommend the X870E Edge Ti. It's often on sale for just over $300 and it has excellent connectivity, plus you can have 4 M.2 slots with no interference between those and PCIe slots. Perfect for high-end GPUs!

The MSI B850 Tomahawk is also a solid choice and usually retails around $220. It's got pretty good features for the price.
