Hey everyone! I'm considering an upgrade from my Intel i5-13500 to an AMD processor, especially since I've spotted some great deals at PCComponentes.pt. I'm looking to spend around 400€ total on both a motherboard and CPU. I currently have a full ATX case, an AIO water cooler, and 32GB of DDR5 RAM. My graphics card is a powerful RTX 4070.
I'm thinking about going with an AMD Ryzen 5 9600K (priced at 233,70€) paired with an ASUS PRIME B650-PLUS motherboard (142,30€). What do you all think? If there are any better options out there, especially cheaper ones, I'd love to hear your suggestions!

I wouldn't recommend that ASUS motherboard because it has poor VRMs. You might want to consider something like the ASRock B650M HDV M.2 instead; it's a much better option for stability!
Got it, thanks! What about the CPU choice, though?
