Hi everyone! I'm a mom trying to find a great wired headset for my son. He does a lot of online gaming and chatting, so I need something that delivers clear audio both for listening and for the microphone. It's important that the headset uses a regular audio jack, as he'll be connecting it to his PS5, laptop, and possibly a PC. I've heard that many headsets struggle with audio quality during multi-player games. Since I've never used a gaming headset before, I'm a bit lost on what to look for. If you have any recommendations on what works well, I'd really appreciate your advice!

If your budget allows, consider going wireless. Wireless headsets can be really handy because they're less likely to get accidentally unplugged. I'm currently using SteelSeries Arctis 7s with my PS5 and Discord, and they perform beautifully! SteelSeries generally makes great products.
You might want to check out the HyperX Cloud 2 — it's a solid wired headset that works well with all three devices you mentioned. Lots of gamers rave about its comfort and sound quality!
Definitely check out some Bose options as well. My Bose Ultra headphones support both wired and Bluetooth, and the sound is top-notch! I sometimes use them for phone calls too. Just double-check they have a wired mode since it sounds like that's what OP needs.
