I'm searching for a trustworthy AI meeting recorder or notetaker that can work across different platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams, especially since some of the meetings hosted by other organizations have their recording features disabled. We currently use Teams Premium, which works for most users, but I've heard some requests for alternatives like Read AI, even though I found their privacy policy quite concerning. A lot of these AI services seem to not prioritize security or data privacy. I'm also considering Fellow as an option, but I'd love to hear from the community if anyone has experience with other reliable solutions that respect user data. Thanks!

It's worth noting that if other organizations have their recording disabled, they might not be happy with your company using a third-party recorder. We use Copilot internally, and it works well for us. If your users need to take notes, suggest they host the meetings they attend so they can record them properly instead.
Honestly, most AI notetakers have really poor privacy policies. If your users are adamant about recording without permission, it might be better to use a speech-to-text tool and then just compile the notes later with something like Copilot.
Haven't you heard? Zero trust is key nowadays! Just remember, the only absolutely safe tech is none at all. My focus is to balance business needs with safety, and it takes some effort to manage the risks, especially with so many fly-by-nights out there.

I see your point, but I totally get that the need for a cross-platform tool is valid. What do you use for Zoom and Google Meet?
