Hey everyone! I'm reaching out because we run a small apparel printing business and currently manage customer messages through Gmail. However, our client has requested that we implement a ticketing system to better organize our communications. I'm pretty new to helpdesk or ticketing systems, but here's what we use right now: Gmail for emails, Tidio for website chats, RingCentral for calls and texts, ClickUp for project management, and Slack for team communication.
We're specifically looking for a system that offers:
1. A shared inbox so that messages from team members who are off can still be accessed and managed.
2. Auto-responders for emails and chats, potentially for texts and missed calls as well.
3. A method to ensure all emails are answered promptly to avoid missing anything important.
I've checked out Zendesk but it seems a little too complex for what we need, despite only having seen their demo. Any beginner-friendly options out there that are easy to set up and can handle our basic requirements? Thanks!

For your needs, Freescout might be the way to go. It’s affordable and offers modules that cover everything you're looking for.
I’d recommend checking out Freshdesk! It’s a solid platform that many small businesses find easy to use without overwhelming features.
Jitbit has been great for me! I'm using it based on suggestions from others, and it has worked out really well so far.
Have you looked into Zammad? It's an amazing option, fully free if you self-host it, and if you're okay without support, it could work really well for you.
Znuny is another option. It's a fork of OTRS and we used it until recently with decent results. Just a thought if you're open to open-source solutions.
