Looking for the Best RGB 32GB DDR5 RAM Kit Without Breaking the Bank

I'm on the hunt for a reliable 32GB RAM kit (4 x 8GB DDR5) without spending a fortune. I found the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RGB 32GB AMD EXPO for just under £100, but it's a 2 x 16GB kit. I want to achieve an aesthetically pleasing setup without any empty slots, so I'm aiming for a full four stick configuration. However, I've come across dummy RAM kits for around £30, which feels steep for just a couple of sticks with no actual RAM. Any suggestions on the best way to fill all four slots while staying budget-friendly?

If you're looking at any of the Ryzen 7000/9000 CPUs, just know they handle 4 sticks less reliably at higher speeds. You'll often see maximum performance drops with 4 compared to 2. Save up for that extra £30 for dummy sticks only if you can afford it.

If you’re focused on performance, stick to 2 x 16GB. Generally, 4 sticks can lead to stability issues and won’t perform as well, especially in gaming. Just get the 2 x 16GB for now and add dummy sticks later when your budget allows.

Getting a 32GB kit in a 4 x 8GB configuration is pretty rare. You might find it more cost-effective to just grab 2 of the 16GB kits, though that could run you a bit more than one single 32GB kit.

Honestly, 2 x 16GB will give you a better gaming experience than 4 x 8GB. Plus, if you go with 2 sticks, they’re more likely to achieve the advertised speeds without running into issues.

Going with 2 sticks is advisable. High-speed memory configurations can struggle with 4 sticks due to how memory channels work on motherboards. It’s more noise and less performance.
