Looking to Build a New PC: Need Advice on Specs and Performance

I'm considering building a new PC with a budget between €1400 to €2000. The budget fluctuates as I might upgrade my old 144Hz monitor later. My main focus is playing competitive games like Deadlock, Valorant, and Overwatch. Currently, I get 60-120 fps in Deadlock, which is why I'm looking to upgrade. I primarily play competitive games (about 95% of my gaming) and do regular office work. I have no interest in RGB lighting or noise levels; I'm prioritizing build quality and performance instead.

My old PC is quite outdated (about 8 years old) and consists of an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 CPU, RTX 2070 GPU, and 16GB of RAM.

For my new build, I'm looking at a rough cost of €1250, and here's what I have in mind:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- **GPU**: MSI RTX 5060 Ti 8GB Ventus 2X
- **Motherboard**: ASRock B650 PG Lightning
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR5-5200 CL40
- **Cooler**: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE
- **SSD**: Crucial P3 500GB M.2
- **PSU**: MSI MAG A650GL (650W)
- **Case**: be quiet! Pure Base 501 Airflow

I have some specific questions:
1. **RAM**: Will 16GB at 5200MHz bottleneck the 7800X3D? Should I invest in 32GB with 6000MHz CL30 instead?
2. **GPU**: Is the 5060 Ti (8GB) sufficient, or will I need the 5070 (12GB) for better longevity?
3. **Storage**: Is the quality of the Crucial P3 SSD acceptable, or should I upgrade to something faster?

These potential upgrades lead to a significant gap in budget. The new monitor isn't a priority right now; I can purchase it in a few months. I just want to make sure I don't skimp on anything and regret it later. Thanks for any help as I get back into PC hardware!

What country are you in? And what's your display resolution? The 5060 Ti 8GB doesn't offer great value, especially if you're looking to game competitively. You might want to think about that before finalizing your GPU choice.

Here’s a build suggestion that fits your budget well: check out this link (https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/kG6cck). For the GPU, I'd recommend the ASUS Prime GeForce RTX 5070 OC if you're willing to spend around €620; with the extra cost, you get better performance for competitive gaming.

You can put together a killer setup for under €2000. Here’s a link to a build I put together: [https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/DnJCyF](https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/DnJCyF). Don’t bother with 2x8GB RAM unless you're getting a killer deal; 2x16GB isn't that much more expensive. Regarding the 5070, there are more powerful options like the 9070 XT that might be a better investment.

Your RAM setup should be fine for now, but going with 2x8 over a single stick will boost your performance a bit. If you can, waiting for prices to drop might allow you to snag 2x16GB 6000 CL30 later. As for the GPU, I recommend the 5070 if you can stretch your budget a bit; the 5060 Ti can be limiting, especially if you're aiming for longevity. Also, consider getting at least a 750W PSU for headroom. The Crucial P3 SSD is decent; it should handle your needs without a problem.
