Looking to Upgrade from My RTX 3060 – What Should I Choose?

I'm currently using an RTX 3060 with 12GB of VRAM and I'm thinking about upgrading. My budget is around $600, and I'm a bit confused about which graphics card to go for. I primarily game on a 27" monitor at 1440p. Should I consider going for the 4070 Ti, 4070 Ti Super, or the 5070? I've come across a lot of mixed opinions on these cards and I'm really looking for the best value for my money.

I’d hold out for the 5070 Ti if you can wait a bit! It might give you the performance boost you need in the long run.

I upgraded from a 3060 Ti to a used 4070 Ti Super recently, and it's been a great choice! For 1440p gaming, I really appreciate the 16GB of VRAM that comes with it. Just a heads up, the 4070 and 5070 only have 12GB, which might limit their performance in the future.

Check out the benchmarks! The 4070 Ti Super offers better performance, especially since it has 16GB of VRAM, which is important for future-proofing your setup. Plus, the 5070 is being bundled with Borderlands 4 for around $550, so that could be a solid deal if you're looking for value.

Thanks for the tip! That bundle sounds tempting, but I'm still leaning towards the 4070 Ti Super.

Ultimately, it all comes down to pricing. Since NVIDIA has halted production on the 40 Series, grab the 4070 Ti if you can get it for about the same price as the 5070. It performs better overall and is great for 1440p ultra settings. Just keep in mind, if you're planning to max out textures in the next couple of years, you might want to steer clear of the 12GB cards.

Finding a 4070 Ti Super for $600 can be tricky, but if you do, it’s worth it. If not, I'd recommend the 5070 as a solid second choice.

Definitely consider the 4070 Ti Super for around $600. It's a solid GPU, and I've put together a few builds with it. I recently built a compact system with the 5070 Ti, but I was a bit let down with its performance compared to the 4080 series.
