Hey everyone! I just picked up a PC from a friend and I'm eager to upgrade the GPU since I love gaming on titles like Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Cyberpunk. I'm seeking some advice on where to start with this upgrade.

I've got a budget of $300 to $500 and I'm located in Dallas, TX. Here are my current specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores, 3600 MHz)
- Current GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super
- Motherboard: MAG B550 TOMAHAWK AM4
- Power Supply: EVGA 650 (80+ Bronze, Semi Modular)
- Storage: 1TB SSD Black
- RAM: 16GB (3600 MHz)
- Monitor: MSI 32 inch 1080p, 165 Hz

Any suggestions for a good GPU upgrade within my budget would be awesome! Thanks!

Just confirm your budget first! You mentioned wanting to stick around $300-500. Also, looking for used parts can help you stretch that budget further! You're definitely in a good area to find deals in Dallas.

Right, I'm focusing on $300-$500, used works too!

If you're in Dallas, check out Microcenter nearby. I recommend getting the RX 9060XT 16GB, which you can find for under $400, and maybe pair that with a Ryzen 5800X CPU for about $130. If an 8GB GPU works for you, the regular 9060XT is usually quite a bit cheaper!

Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely check those out.

Yeah, I found the 16GB version on Newegg for $379.99. Is the extra 8GB worth the price difference though?
