I'm looking for advice on upgrading my old CyberPower prebuilt system. It's about ten years old and currently has a GTX 1060 3GB, a B150M Bazooka motherboard, an i7-7700 CPU, and a 600w power supply. I've held off on upgrading for a while since I play casually, but it's struggling with newer game releases. I would like to upgrade just the GPU if possible, but I'm not sure what would work best with my setup. I run two standard monitors at 1080p, and I'm hoping to find the best bang for my buck without breaking the bank.

First, you need to check the model of your power supply since CyberPower varies in quality. If it's a decent one, I recommend going for a RX 9600 XT 16GB; it'll be a significant improvement over your 1060. Just keep in mind that your i7-7700 may hold back the performance at 1080p, but you should still see a solid boost. If you want a more budget-friendly option, consider a used RTX 2070 Super; it can also deliver great value for your gaming.
Are you upgrading just for DIY fun, or do you want a better gaming experience? If you're looking for better performance, focusing on a good GPU is key, but if you want to stick with your current CPU and still see decent improvements, a solid 1080p experience is achievable without needing everything to run at 4K.
I'm mainly interested in better performance for newer games, not necessarily 4K. Just want smoother gaming at higher settings!

I checked, and the power supply is an ATNG ATM-600FB. Do you think that will hold up for those upgrades?
