Hey everyone! I'm currently running a mid-tier setup with a GTX 6600 and an i5 12400F. I'm planning to shift my gaming experience to 1440p, and I'm looking to upgrade most of my parts while keeping the same case and RAM. I'd really appreciate your honest thoughts and suggestions on this. Here's my current build list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8sMbQd

To get the most out of your i5 12400F, you'll need to make sure your RAM is compatible. It typically requires either DDR4 or DDR5, not DDR3. Also, keep in mind that a GTX 6600 might not cut it for 1440p gaming; I'd recommend a card with at least 12GB of VRAM to ensure a smoother experience.

Good point! Starting with a solid GPU upgrade like the 4070 or even the 5070 is definitely a wise move!

Just be careful with the parts you're picking. Your PCPartPicker list seems to be set up for an older generation of Intel boards. Since you have a 12400 already, maybe prioritize getting a more powerful GPU, something like a 5070 or 9070, for a significant boost in performance.
