Hey everyone! I've decided to switch to Linux after doing a lot of research since August, and I think Pop!_OS is the distro that's the best fit for me, especially since it focuses on gaming and comes with the necessary drivers pre-installed. However, I'm unsure about a few things as I prepare for this change:
1. Should I wait for the upcoming update on the 11th to install it, or is it better to download the stable version and update later?
2. I know Pop!_OS uses GNOME as its desktop environment, but I'm really interested in trying out KDE. Once I get comfortable with Pop!_OS, can I switch to KDE easily?
3. Do you think Pop!_OS is the best choice for someone focused on gaming? This will be my main PC, so I want to ensure my gaming experience is smooth from the start.
I'm open to using the terminal if necessary, and just to note, English isn't my first language, so I appreciate your patience!

Bazzite is considered a better gaming distro by some, and you might want to check it out! But if you feel like Pop!_OS fits your needs better, just go for it. It's designed well for gaming and handles NVIDIA drivers pretty smoothly.

I did a quick search on Bazzite, but it seems aimed at living room setups rather than daily usage. Am I missing something?
