I've been experiencing an odd issue with my monitor where it randomly loses signal and then comes back. This started happening around December, and while I initially thought it was just a one-time glitch, it's now occurring roughly once a day. My system runs on Windows 11, and I've had no issues until recently. After the signal loss, applications often freeze or show errors until restarted, but strangely, games seem to work just fine. I suspect it might be related to my GPU (RTX 5070) since the problem began after a driver update. I'm getting worried as the frequency of these incidents is increasing, and I'm hoping it's not due to hardware failure.

Considering the application issues post-signal loss, it seems likely your problem is with the GPU or its drivers rather than the monitor itself. If it were a monitor or cable issue, you wouldn't see apps glitching out too. Keep an eye on driver compatibility with your Windows version; that could be a factor!
For sure! Rolling back to a stable version might resolve your issues. Let us know how it goes!
Have you checked the physical connection of your GPU? Sometimes reseating it can resolve these kinds of issues. Make sure it's firmly in place, and verify if your case has enough support for that weight. A bad connection can definitely lead to signal loss!
Yeah, I really hope it's not a physical issue! I’ll keep that in mind, but from what I can tell, my GPU was seated properly.
It’s always worth checking twice just to be sure! Those connections can be tricky sometimes.

That's good to hear. If it turns out to be just a driver issue, it should be easy to fix. I guess I'll start looking into rolling back the driver to see if that sorts things out.
