My 5070 Ti GPU Won’t Turn On! Any Suggestions?

I recently purchased two 5070s, specifically a 5070 Ti from PNY. After returning the first one because I thought it was faulty, I plugged in the second one, but it doesn't seem to power on at all. The LED lights and fans won't start when I turn on my computer. I've uninstalled my AMD drivers since I'm using an Nvidia card now. I have a 750W power supply, and my setup includes a Ryzen 7 5800 and a B450M DS3H Gen 1 motherboard. I've tried everything I can think of but I'm still getting a black screen. I'm really frustrated and could use some help!

Make sure all the power cables are securely connected and that your GPU is properly seated in the PCIe slot. Sometimes it's a simple thing that makes all the difference. Give that a check!

I'm serious! I know it sounds basic but double-checking those connections can often fix the issue.

Glad to hear you figured it out! It sounds like your PSU was modular and you needed to use an extra PCIe cable. The first card probably wasn’t faulty after all!

What’s the exact power supply you’re using? Does it have the native 12vhpwr connector, or are you using an adapter? If you're using an adapter, make sure you have a dedicated PCIe cable for each port. If it's asking for three connections, you'll need three separate PCIe 8-pin cables, not just a pigtail setup.

You can actually use a pigtail if the other half isn't plugged in. The OP probably only has two PCIe cables available.

Wait, I didn't realize that I might need three separate ones! I only have a couple of cables from my HX 750 power supply, and I’m using the adapter it came with!
