I have an Asus TUF A17 that seems to have overheated while it was unintentionally left inside my backpack. When I took it out, it was warm but not excessively hot. I tried to power it on and charge it, but nothing happened—the indicator light didn't come on either. I let it cool down for an hour but no luck. I even checked the CPU area, which felt really hot. Now it's in a normal temperature room, but I'm worried. Is there any chance it will turn back on?

If it's still not powering on after cooling down, it might be a hardware issue. I'd recommend taking it to a repair shop to get it checked out. Better safe than sorry!
That sounds rough! It's possible that your laptop chip got fried from the overheating, but there's still a chance. Just a tip for the future—if you need to put it in a bag, try to hibernate it instead of just sleeping. Some laptops can act up in sleep mode, which could explain the overheating. If it's still under warranty, now might be the best time to consider that just in case!

I usually don't put it to sleep, but I guess I should've been more careful. Last time it overheated, it did wake back up after a few hours, so I’m hoping it pulls through again!
