Hey everyone, I'm having a weird issue with my computer. It's stuck in a loop where it keeps typing the letter 'b' endlessly, even when I'm in safe mode. It's also scrolling through my files and highlighting games on my desktop that start with 'B'. I've tried disconnecting the keyboard, updating everything, resetting, and troubleshooting. I even deleted the keyboard drivers, but they came back somehow. I ran a quick virus scan, but nothing came up. I really can't do a hard reset or reinstall Windows right now since I need the PC for work and school. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I'm kind of in a jam here!

More details could help! What's the type of computer you're using? Is it a laptop, PC tower, or something else? Are you using a USB or internal keyboard? Also, do other keys work fine? If you press and hold the 'B' key, does it stop eventually? Have you tried connecting a different keyboard to see if the issue persists?
Reinstalling Windows might be a bit drastic. Have you thought about just replacing the keyboard? It sounds like a faulty hardware issue instead of a software problem. You could save yourself some trouble that way!
I don't think it's just the keyboard since he disconnected it completely, and the problem didn’t go away. It might be malware or a glitch with the drivers.
Thanks for the tips! It’s an Alienware Aurora R16. I can still type normally, but the 'B's just won't stop. Holding the key doesn’t help either, but deleting the driver temporarily worked until I reinstalled it.
