My Computer Keeps Restarting When I Launch Any Game – Help!

Hey everyone! I've hit a roadblock with my HP Omen 45L, running an Nvidia RTX 3070 and an AMD Ryzen 7 5800x. Ever since I installed the latest Nvidia driver, my computer instantly restarts every time I try to launch a game. It even crashed during an OCCT 3D mark test. What's strange is it plays 4K YouTube videos fine, with just a hint of stuttering. I even swapped in a new PSU after someone suggested that might be the issue, but no luck. Unfortunately, I can't take it to a repair shop or grab spare parts. Here's what I've tried so far:
- Complete system reset
- Cloud download of Windows
- Safe mode DDU removal of the problematic Nvidia driver, reverting to a highly recommended one (version 633 I think)
- Replaced the PSU
- Attempted undervolting
- Updated the BIOS and all drivers
- Adjusted various settings that could affect performance

I'm really hoping someone can advise me on what else I can try to resolve this!

You've covered a lot of bases, but did you tackle each step one at a time? It’s crucial to test your games after each fix. Also, make sure to disable any overclocking programs like MSI Afterburner. From what I gather, the recent driver issues revolved around temperature sensor readings after hibernation, which could lead to your fans not working properly. Unless your card got super hot during extended sessions, hardware might not be the culprit here.

I actually went through all the steps individually, checking games each time, and I’ve never overclocked anything before. I only started looking into these fixes knowing my game performance tanked within 24 hours of that driver installation. The only game I was playing was World of Warcraft, and I didn't think it would push my GPU that hard.
