I recently tried to upgrade my computer by adding new RAM sticks and a new CPU. Unfortunately, the new CPU wasn't compatible with my motherboard. After realizing this, I switched back to the old CPU along with the new RAM, but now my computer won't turn on at all. I've even tried using the old RAM sticks, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on what might have gone wrong?

If you attempted to install an incompatible CPU, it's possible to unintentionally damage the socket. Make sure to check it closely for any unseen issues.
It sounds like you might have damaged the CPU socket or the pins on the motherboard when you tried to fit the wrong CPU. That's a common issue when mixing incompatible parts.
Did you make sure to turn off your power supply and unplug it from the wall before you started working on it? That's a crucial step.
I did unplug it from the wall before doing the upgrade.
I put the original CPU back in and I checked, and I don't see any damage or bent pins.
