My Computer Won’t Turn On After Installing RTX 5060 Ti

I'm having some serious trouble with my new graphics card. I recently added an RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB to my setup, which includes an i5 10400 processor and an H410MH rev x1 motherboard that has PCIe 3.0. The folks at the shop assured me there wouldn't be any compatibility issues as long as I had a decent power supply. I'm using a Corsair CX 750M with 750W, but the card keeps crashing Windows, the audio gets distorted, and sometimes it even shuts down or restarts unexpectedly. I've already updated the BIOS, Windows, and all my drivers, but nothing seems to fix the problem. Has anyone else faced something similar? Should I consider upgrading my motherboard or processor?

It seems like you might be limiting your GPU's potential since your motherboard supports PCIe Gen 3 x8, which is significantly slower than what the card can deliver. I’d suggest looking at a new setup if feasible—maybe something with an AM4, DDR4 setup. It could save you some money while still allowing for decent performance.

If I upgrade to an H610MH with PCIe 4.0 and an Intel i5 12400F, would that solve my issue or just bring the same problems?

It sounds like your CPU and motherboard should be okay. Just out of curiosity, did you have a different GPU before switching to the 5060 Ti?
