I recently moved to Dubai, and while setting up my new Wi-Fi, I started receiving suspicious emails. First, I got two emails trying to reset my Facebook password, which looked legitimate as they came directly from Facebook. Then, I received another email concerning a change on one of my other Instagram accounts—though not my main one, which I rarely use. A week later, I got an email from Prada's Heathrow terminal about a purchase I never made, and I've never even flown from there. It feels like someone is using my email for unauthorized purchases, leaving me feeling anxious and violated. I've taken steps to secure my accounts already. I created this email account as a security measure using my mother's maiden name to avoid compromises. What should I do now?

Did you connect to any public Wi-Fi while you were traveling? Public networks can be risky. Also, did you plug your device into any charging stations at the airport? That could have exposed your data to malware.
Check if your email is unique and not easy to guess. Sometimes, people just randomly input emails. I'd recommend running some security scans like Sophos, Housecall, or ADWcleaner, and definitely change all your passwords just to be safe.
