Hey everyone! My PC recently crashed, and after restarting, I noticed that one of my monitors isn't working anymore. I've already tried some basic troubleshooting steps like swapping out cables, testing the same cable on other ports, and completely powering down and unplugging my PC. Unfortunately, nothing seems to work for that specific HDMI port. I only have one HDMI port available, and my other three are Display Ports, but one of them is already taken up by my other monitor. I have an AMD RX 7700 XT graphics card. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

It sounds like your HDMI port may have failed, especially if it's not responding to any cables. The HDMI connector is usually soldered to the GPU, making repairs tricky if you don't have experience. Instead, a simple solution is to buy a DisplayPort cable for your other monitor, which should work fine. You can find adapters that convert DisplayPort to HDMI if your monitor only accepts HDMI too. Give that a shot!

So there's no hope for the HDMI port then?
