My HP Laptop Keeps Disconnecting from WiFi—Help!

I have an HP laptop that I bought less than a year ago, and it used to work just fine. Recently, though, I'm finding it impossible to use because the WiFi disconnects and reconnects every few minutes. This happens right after I turn it on; I have to manually connect to the WiFi, but it drops out randomly even if I'm just browsing with a single Google tab open. I've already tried a bunch of things like forgetting the network, restarting my router, resetting the adapter, and rebooting my laptop, but nothing seems to help. My router is pretty close, in my room, and I don't have this problem with any other devices at home; only my laptop is acting up. I'm looking for some help before I decide to spend money on repairs or even a new laptop. Thanks in advance!

Have you used the HP Support Assist app to check if your WiFi drivers are updated? Keeping them current can solve many connectivity issues.

I gave it a shot and ran the HP PC hardware diagnostics UEFI. It said "no network adapter found" or that the current one isn't supported. Any advice on how to fix that?

Did you recently have any repairs done on your laptop? I know on mine it was pretty easy to accidentally disconnect the WiFi antenna wires while replacing the hard drive or upgrading memory. If drivers check out fine, maybe look into getting a USB WiFi adapter as a simple fix.

No repairs done at all here, everything else on the laptop is running smoothly. Just the WiFi issue that’s got me frustrated.
