Last night, I was charging my iPad Pro and used it briefly before leaving it to watch a movie. When I picked it up later, the screen was completely black, even though it should have been fully charged. I panicked a bit! I've tried force restarting it by holding the power button for about 2 minutes, and I also left it charging overnight, but nothing happened. There's no sign of charging, not even the battery icon. I'm really worried because I use this iPad for my digital drawings, and it's only 5 years old. I can't afford to buy a new one right now. Does anyone have any advice?

Did it feel hot at all when you picked it up? It's strange that it's not turning on. Make sure you're using the right charger and brick, too. If it seems like the charging accessories are fine and the iPad is still completely unresponsive, you might need to take it to an Apple store for a proper look.

No, the temperature was normal when I picked it up – almost cold. I've had it for 5 years and never dropped it, and I always use it at home. My charger and brick seem to work fine with my iPhone.
