I was just scrolling through my iPad when it unexpectedly blacked out. Now it won't turn on at all! I've tried charging it and restarting, but nothing seems to work. A technician mentioned it would cost around $350 to fix it here in the Philippines. Before I spend that money, does anyone know what might be wrong or if there's anything else I can try? 🤔

First off, how old is your iPad? If it's an older model, it might just be a worn-out battery acting up. Those batteries can get unpredictable over time. Also, when you keep it plugged in, does it show the same issue? That could help narrow it down.

I just wanted to confirm, is it the iPad M2 you bought in 2023? That model is pretty new, so it's unusual for the battery to fail so quickly. Still, have you tried doing a hard reset? Sometimes that can bring it back to life. Just hold the power button and the volume down button together for a bit!
