I was using my iPad 7th generation (2019) to listen to music when it suddenly ran out of battery at 1%. I plugged it in right after, but nothing happened—the Apple logo didn't show up, nor did the low battery symbol. The charger works fine with my iPhone 12 mini, so I know it's not the charger itself. I even tried resetting it through iTunes on my computer, but that didn't help either. I've always kept it in great condition for the 6 years I've had it, apart from some occasional lag. Should I consider taking it for repairs, or is it time to let my trusty iPad retire and buy a new one? 😢

Before deciding to replace your iPad, check the wattage of the power adapter. You should be using a 10W or 12W USB power adapter for charging. iPhone chargers, which often provide 5W, might not be effective for your iPad. If time isn't an issue, a proper charger might help it turn back on!
Has your iPad turned back on yet?

Nope, still nothing.
