I keep running into blue screen errors on my Acer Aspire 5, which I've had for about 3 years now. Lately, it's been really frequent, happening about 2-5 times a day, and the error message usually says "unexpected store exception." I even tried to update to Windows 11 24H2, but it bluescreens every time I attempt it. I'm not sure what information I need to provide, so just let me know if you need anything specific!

Have you tried using Bluescreenview to decipher what's causing the crashes? That tool can help identify the failing driver. Checking the Event Viewer can also reveal which hardware or driver is at fault.

Remember that the majority of blue screen issues stem from driver problems. Spending some time figuring out what's been recently updated or changed can often give you a clue as to what's causing these errors! Make sure your drivers are all up to date.

Your issue might be related to a failing system drive since the "UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION" error often indicates drive problems. Make sure to back up all your important files just in case! You should also check the Reliability Monitor on Windows for logs that might correspond to the blue screens—many times, these crashes are due to driver conflicts.

To tackle those blue screens, try generating dump files from your crashes. If you can start Windows normally or get into Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump directory for any dump files. If you find any, zip them and upload them to a file-sharing site—catbox.moe or mediafire.com usually work well. Multiple dump files are ideal for a complete analysis. Also, follow the guide to ensure your system is set to produce small memory dumps if you're not getting any dump files from crashes.
