I'm having a major issue with my Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 laptop—it just won't turn on after I hard shut it off during what I think was a BIOS update. I'm not sure about the exact model, but it's one of the generic versions like 15ACH6 or 15ARH05. The power button exhibits strange blinking patterns: it blinks slowly when the battery is charged and very fast when it's low, along with the charging light blinking in sync. After blinking roughly 12 times, it takes a break... and during this time, nothing else powers up. I've tried pressing the Novo button, F9, and the power button but to no avail. I've even disconnected the RAM, SSD, CMOS, WiFi card, and battery, but the blinking persists. It blinks even without the battery, as long as it's plugged in. I was forced to shut it off because the fans were going wild and the screen was black—I suspect it was in the middle of an update. I'm feeling stuck and unsure about why the BIOS would fail like this, especially since it seems there's no protection against power loss during updates.

I have the same model, the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15ARH05 Type: 82EY, and I feel your pain! Have you tried any other troubleshooting steps? Sometimes just giving it a bit of time can help too, but I hope you find a quick fix!
You might need to take it to a repair shop for EEPROM programming. While it’s something you could potentially do yourself, it can be a bit tricky. There’s a guide you can follow if you’re feeling adventurous—here's a link to some instructions on how to flash the BIOS from scratch.
If I decide to send it to a repair shop, what kind of pricing should I expect for that?

Would it be possible to use a USB stick with pre-made BIOS files from someone else? I’m lost at this point. I've tried all my USB ports with peripherals, but none of them seem to work.
