I just finished building my new PC, and initially, everything lit up, but I couldn't connect to my monitor. There was a solid white light on the motherboard at that time. After unplugging everything, now the only thing that turns on is a light on my case. No fans are spinning, and there are no lights on the motherboard. I've tried booting with just one stick of RAM, switching RAM slots, and resetting the BIOS, but nothing seems to work. I started with an AMD Ryzen 5 and then switched to a Ryzen 7. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: MSI PRO B550M-VC WiFi ProSeries
- PSU: CORSAIR CX550 80 Plus Bronze Non Modular Low-Noise ATX 550 Watt
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, 8-Core, 16-Thread
- RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX DDR4 32GB (2x16GB)
- SSD: Crucial P310 1TB SSD, PCIe Gen4 NVMe M.2 2280

How long did you let it sit there to get an image? On AMD systems, it can take a bit longer to initialize the RAM the first time you start it.
Have you updated your BIOS to work with the new CPU? Sometimes that's necessary for it to boot up properly.
