I recently built a new PC, but after the power supply unit (PSU) failed unexpectedly, I replaced it with a higher quality one. Since then, my computer has been running poorly and stutters, especially during games. I've tried reseating the CPU and tested each RAM stick individually, but nothing seems to improve the situation. I also sent the GPU for a test, and it was returned in good condition. Now I'm a bit lost on what could be wrong. Any ideas on what else I should test or the best troubleshooting methods?

Make sure you purchased your parts from a trusted supplier. There are a lot of fake products out there. I had a similar experience with subpar PSUs. They looked fine but couldn't handle the load. You might want to check where you got your parts from and consider load-testing them if you can.
Hey there! If you built the PC yourself and it's still under warranty, remember you might have a two-year warranty on major components in the EU. It sounds like a hassle, but consider RMAing the parts. It's worth it instead of chasing ghosts. If that's not an option, check your connections—make sure everything is seated properly. Sometimes a faulty connection can cause stuttering.
I can relate! I tried reaching out to the support, but they just suggested I test the components myself too. They even asked me to format the PC, which just seems irrelevant to me too!

I bought everything from Overclockers UK and everything would work fine at first, it's just the issues started after the PSU blowout. Guess I need to investigate further.
