I recently built a new PC, but after my power supply unit (PSU) failed, I replaced it with a higher-quality one. Now, however, my computer is running much worse, experiencing stuttering and lag during games. I've tried reseating the CPU and testing each stick of RAM individually, but nothing's improved. I even sent my GPU for testing and it came back fine. I'm feeling stuck and unsure of what's faulty now. What should I test next, and how can I effectively troubleshoot this issue?

If you built the PC yourself, remember that you can usually RMA the parts if they're still under warranty—especially in Europe, where you have a 2-year warranty on major components. It's worth pursuing that route instead of trying to fix everything yourself. If the supplier or manufacturer doesn't work with you, try contacting the component brands directly.
Make sure you're buying from a trusted supplier. There are plenty of counterfeit or low-quality parts out there. I had a similar experience with a bunch of 650W PSUs that only managed to deliver half that under load. It could be worth revisiting your PSU choice and testing it under load, just to be sure it's working as it should.
