Hey everyone, my PC keeps crashing unexpectedly, around 5 to 10 times daily, and I'm really stumped on the cause. Checking the Event Viewer under Windows System, I see an entry indicating a fatal hardware error, specifically reported by the Processor Core. It mentions a Machine Check Exception related to a Cache Hierarchy Error, and lists Processor APIC ID: 1. I'm hoping someone might have an idea on how to fix this issue!

If you're experiencing blue or black screens during crashes, you should grab your minidump files for some analysis. They can really help pinpoint the problem.
Have you done any overclocking on your CPU? That could be the source of your instability. If not, some suggest sticking to recommended speeds could help.
I'm not overclocking anything, but I did set my RAM speed to 3600 MHz as it was listed. I had similar issues on Windows 10, and changing the power plan seemed to help back then, but now on Windows 11, it's still crashing quite a bit.
You might want to look into replacing components like your CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, or motherboard. Any of those could potentially be failing and causing the crashes.
