I've been using my computer for three years to play AAA games (it has an Nvidia 4070 and 32GB of RAM), but suddenly it won't run games anymore. It either crashes the entire PC or just the game itself. I'm getting various error messages, most of which mention VRAM issues. I benchmarked the GPU, and while it showed no problems, the VRAM usage was under 10%. I ran a memory check, and the RAM seems fine. However, the CPU benchmarking crashes the whole computer. I've replaced the PSU, but the issue persists. I'm at my wits' end, so any help would be appreciated before I lose my mind!

Since this started happening suddenly, it might be related to a Windows update or GPU driver issue. Check the error log in the Windows Event Viewer. I faced similar problems that were resolved with a fresh Windows install, especially after a series of updates. You could also try a clean driver install using DDU before going that route, but back up your data just in case!
You might want to try connecting your monitor to the integrated graphics of your CPU, if it's supported. This can help you determine if the problem lies with your Nvidia GPU or something else. It's worth a shot if you don't have a spare GPU to swap out.
I'm not very tech-savvy, and that sounds complicated. I don't have another GPU; my only card is the 4070, and it benchmarks fine aside from the low VRAM usage.

Do you mean the error log on the PC or something from the games that crash?
