I'm running a new gaming build with a Ryzen 9 9950x3d CPU, an RTX 5090 Rog Astral GPU, and 64GB of DDR5 RAM on Windows 11 Pro. I'm not overclocking anything, but I've been facing a frustrating issue: while playing Valorant, my PC freezes after about 10 minutes or so, and the only way to fix it is to do a hard shutdown. I've also tested it with an MSI GTX 1080 Ti graphics card, but it still freezes. Interestingly, when I use the onboard graphics, it doesn't freeze at all. Any ideas on what might be going on?

What happens with the fans and display when it freezes? If the fans keep running and the display just freezes with the last frame shown, it might be a RAM issue worth investigating first.
Have you tried using DDU to completely remove your graphics drivers and then reinstalling the latest NVIDIA drivers? Also, make sure your motherboard BIOS and chipset drivers are up to date. If the freezing is only happening in Valorant, it might be more about the game or its drivers than your GPU itself. You should also check if the issue occurs in other games or during stress tests.
