My PC Isn’t Booting: Getting the VGA Light of Death

Hey everyone! I'm having trouble with my PC—it's not booting up and showing the dreaded white light of death along with a VGA light indicator. I was in the middle of a game when everything froze, both the video and audio, and then the screen went black with a boot loop after that. I managed to get it to boot into the BIOS using a single stick of RAM, but then it wouldn't work again after that, and now I'm facing the white light issue. I've swapped in some known good RAM and even tried a friend's graphics card, plus I double-checked all the connections by reseating the cables. My HDMI is connected to the GPU. Just for context, I have a Ryzen 9 3900x, a 3050 GPU, and an X570 Plus WiFi motherboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you're stuck at booting, that can complicate testing your RAM. Since you've tried replacing it, I’d also consider the power supply unit as a potential problem. Sometimes that’s the culprit, especially if all connections are secure. If you have access to another PSU to test, that might help narrow it down.

It sounds like the VGA light issue you're seeing isn't always just about the GPU. Based on what you've tested, it could point to a RAM issue, your PSU, or maybe even the motherboard itself. Have you thought about running Memtest to check your RAM? Just a suggestion, it's worth looking into before taking further steps.
