I've been a tech enthusiast for a long time, but I'm really struggling with this problem. My PC crashes at least once a day—freezing the screen and looping the last second of audio until I have to do a hard reset. It started when I was using Windows 10, where I'd get a BSOD almost daily. I switched to Linux Mint (still trying to get the hang of Linux), but the crashing continued. I've replaced a faulty SSD with a new NVME drive, upgraded my RAM from 16GB to 32GB DDR4, and even updated the motherboard firmware, but nothing seems to work. I rely on my PC for some side business tasks, so these crashes are really messing things up. My build includes an R5 3600 processor, RX580 Sapphire graphics card, and a Gigabyte E-ATX motherboard. I often use Firefox to watch videos on YouTube, which is when it crashes, but I'm not sure if that's the main issue since I usually have long videos going for background noise.

Given you've replaced both the SSD and RAM without success, I'd suspect the motherboard or power supply. Kernel messages might help, but those are harder to track down. You might want to check the power supply first since intermittent failures like this can really be tricky.
Could it be related to CPU overheating? That’s one thing I’d check if I were you.

That's possible, but I haven't noticed overheating before. I've run demanding games and 3D modeling software without issues. Still, I'll keep an eye on the temps just in case!
