I've been dealing with a weird issue where my PC disconnects from the internet for about 30 seconds whenever certain websites with video ads are loaded. This is happening even though I'm on a hardwired connection using a new Ethernet cable with AT&T fiber as my ISP. The problem seems to only affect my PC—none of my other devices lose connection. It first popped up while I was playing Hardcore WoW, particularly when browsing Wowhead. I've also encountered this disconnection with Warcraftlogs, and recently, the PIP ads on Twitch have caused it too. The disconnection doesn't happen instantly; it occurs after some time, suggesting it's related to an ad loading that my browser struggles with. I'm looking for suggestions on what might be causing this and how I can fix it, because I can't have my browser open while gaming without worrying about getting disconnected!

Have you considered using an ad blocker? uBlock Origin Lite is a good start, but I recommend switching to the full version of uBlock Origin for better results. It should help prevent those ads from causing disconnections.
I'd second that! uBlock Origin is way more effective. If you’re not already using Firefox, that could also help improve performance.
