My PC keeps restarting when I hit the power button—what’s going on?

I'm in the process of building my own PC, and I'm facing a couple of frustrating issues. After installing all the components, when I hit the power button, the system turns on but there's no display from my GPU (an RTX 3060 12GB). On top of that, when I try to turn the PC off, it shuts down for just a second before turning back on by itself. Here are my specs: CPU - Ryzen 7 5800 XT, Motherboard - Gigabyte B550 UD AC, GPU - GeForce 3060 12GB, SSD - PNY 1TB M.2, RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR4 32GB (2x16GB), PSU - Thermaltake 600W Smart, Case - Gamdias White Mid ATX from Amazon.

I get what you mean, but I don’t see a reset switch cable on my case either, just the power LED and power switch. The case is a cheap Amazon one with all the fans connected to a single RGB connector, which might complicate things.

It sounds like you might have accidentally connected the reset switch to the power switch on the front panel. Double-check the manual for your motherboard; it has a front panel map that can help you sort out the connections.
