My PC Powers On But There’s No Display—Help!

Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my PC with new components including a motherboard, CPU, RAM, and SSD. The boot debug LED is green, and all other LEDs are off, indicating no issues with the CPU, RAM, or GPU. However, I can't access the BIOS, and my monitor remains black. I'm worried my GPU might be faulty or if there's another issue at play. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600x
- GPU: AMD Radeon 6900xt
- Motherboard: MSI Pro B650-S WiFi
- RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo 32GB DDR5 6000 CL30
- Storage: Team Group T-Force Cardea A440 2TB SSD

It's worth checking if your motherboard defaulted to using the integrated graphics of your CPU instead of the GPU. You might need to adjust some settings or check which output you’re using for your monitor. If the CPU doesn’t have integrated graphics, you won’t see any display at all!

How can I confirm if it’s using the integrated graphics?

Have you tried connecting the display directly to your motherboard? If that works, it could mean your GPU isn't seated properly or it might have an issue. Double-check that the GPU is securely installed in the PCIe slot and that all power connectors are wired correctly. Also, make sure your monitor cables are working—sometimes it’s just a simple connection issue! Let me know how it goes!

Yeah, I’ll definitely check that out! I didn’t think of the cables being an issue.

When you say it’s plugged into the GPU, does that mean your monitor is connected to the graphics card? That’s usually how you want it. Just to clarify, if your CPU does have integrated graphics, plugging into the motherboard could help showcase any underlying issues with the GPU.

Yes, my monitor is definitely connected to the GPU.
