I'm having a frustrating issue with my PC where it randomly behaves as if the right mouse button is being held down. This happens at unpredictable intervals—sometimes it triggers immediately or can take a few minutes. When it happens, moving the mouse causes a drag box to appear, and if I left-click, the properties box opens up. In games, it automatically aims down sights and stays in that mode. On web pages, it opens the properties menu. The only temporary fix I've found is right-clicking and then left-clicking, which makes the problem go away for a while.
I'm running Windows 11 Pro and I've already tried several troubleshooting steps: I bought new mice (three in total), uninstalled and reinstalled drivers, checked for a touchpad—which I don't have—and unplugged all peripherals except for the mouse. I've also checked for malware, repaired corrupt files, ran virus scans, cleared temporary files, and even restored the PC to an earlier state. I messed with settings in the Logitech G Hub too and tried various mouse button configurations. Despite all this, the problem persists.

It sounds like this could actually be related to a stuck keyboard key rather than a mouse issue. Have you checked if there's a specific key, like the right Shift or Ctrl, that's being pressed down unintentionally? Sometimes, if you have any scripts or macros enabled, they could mess with your inputs too. Just a thought!
Since you're getting those weird behaviors in games and browsers, I’d also advise trying to reset all mouse settings to default or even uninstalling any special software you're using for your mouse. After that, if you still have problems, sometimes a complete reinstall of Windows might be the last resort, though I know that’s a hassle!
Also, take a look at the Sticky Keys feature on Windows. You can find it under Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard. If it's activated, it can cause strange behavior like what you're experiencing. You can turn it off and also check if the Shift key is inadvertently stuck or malfunctioning.
I checked for Sticky Keys, and it was off, but thanks for the reminder! I’m actually recording the issue to share, the visual would help a lot. It’s hard to explain what my mouse is doing sometimes.
Have you checked for any driver updates? Sometimes the latest updates can fix quirky issues. You could also try using a different USB port for your mouse, just in case it's a port problem rather than the mouse itself.

I think you're onto something! Sometimes it's hard to tell what's going on with keyboard inputs if there's no obvious indication. That's why checking keys and disabling potential macros might help narrow it down.
