I've been dealing with an annoying issue where my PC freezes for about 5 to 8 seconds at random times, especially when gaming. This has been happening for over a year now. During the freeze, I hear the USB device disconnected alert several times, followed by the connection sound, and all my RGB lights default to their basic settings before returning to normal after the freeze ends. This issue affects both wired and Bluetooth devices, including my game controllers and headphones. For example, if I'm playing a fighting game, my character gets stuck when the freeze occurs, making it impossible to play effectively. These freezes usually happen about 30 minutes into usage, but it's unpredictable. I just installed a new motherboard thinking that would fix it, but the issue persists. From my investigation, it seems like the Corsair software might be the culprit, as this issue appears to be widespread among other users as well. I'm really hoping to get this sorted out so I can stop being a sitting duck in online matches.

Are all your devices plugged directly into the motherboard, or are they going through a hub or monitor? Sometimes using a hub can cause these interruptions.

I have a lot of Corsair gear, so most of them are connected via the Commander Pro hub to the motherboard.
