I recently upgraded my PC from a Ryzen 5 5500 with 16GB of 3200 MHz RAM to a Ryzen 7 5800XT and 32GB of 3200 MHz RAM (2x16GB T-Force Vulcanz). However, now my system restarts while I'm playing CS2. Here are my specs:
- Motherboard: B450m-hdv r4.0
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5800XT
- Heatsink: Deepcool Gammaxx AG400
- RAM: 32GB (2x16GB at 3200MHz T-Force Vulcanz)
- GPU: RX 5700XT
- NVMe: Crucial P3 1TB
- PSU: Antec G850 80 Plus Gold
I've already tried replacing my PSU with an Antec G850 because I thought it was a power issue, but the restarts persist. I've checked temperatures, and they seem normal. I tried different RAM combinations: using one module from both brands (XPG and T-Force), but the restarts happen regardless. I also noticed that my system won't even boot with both XPG modules installed. I switched speeds and disabled XMP but am still facing these restarts. According to Asrock's site, BIOS version 10.10 should support the Ryzen 7 5800XT. I'm planning to update to the latest BIOS soon—any other tips?

It sounds like updating your motherboard BIOS is essential after a CPU upgrade, especially for compatibility with newer processors. Make sure to do that as soon as you can.
Don’t forget to update your chipset drivers from the AMD website! It could help stabilize your system. The latest version of Adrenaline might not cover everything you need for the upgrade.

I’ll definitely give that a shot. Thanks for the tip, it’s worth a try!
