My PC Won’t Boot—Is Windows Gone?

This morning, I booted my PC and got an error message saying 'EPI PXE Network (00-2B-67-88-D0-62) boot failed.' When I click OK, it shows 'Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed.' I can't find Windows in the BIOS, only the EFI PXE Network option. I'm worried that my Windows installation might be gone. What could be causing this?

I checked the connection and it seems fine. I think it might be overheating because when I put my PC in the fridge for 10 minutes, I could see Windows in the BIOS, but it disappeared again after a minute without booting up.

It sounds like your SSD or hard drive might have failed. Have you tried reseating it? Sometimes, just removing it and putting it back helps with connection issues.
