Hey everyone! I just finished my first PC build, but I'm running into a serious issue. The computer won't boot up, even though the motherboard seems to be showing life. When I power it on (without pressing any buttons on the case), the CPU heats up, and I can confirm that it's getting warm. I've even checked by placing a case fan in a slot to see if that helps. I've triple-checked that all cords are plugged in correctly to the PSU.
I've reseated both RAM sticks multiple times, tried each one in different slots, and even reseated the CPU a few times. I stripped everything down to the bare minimum but still no luck. The fans don't turn on at all, even though the motherboard's LED strip lights up. While the main LED indicators on the board don't show any signs of life, I do notice that pressing the reflash button turns a green light on, though I lack the updated BIOS flash drive it suggested. I'm not sure if there's a specific step to get the LED indicators to light up.
Here are my specs:
- CPU: AMD RYZEN 9 7900x
- RAM: g.skill flare x five 64GB (32x2)
- Motherboard: ASRock B650M Pro Plus WiFi
- PSU: Thermaltake Tough Power GF1 850W
I've included pictures for context: [link to pics](https://imgur.com/a/1s45UOj) and the LED light [link to light pic](https://imgur.com/a/wpjkRbJ).
Update: I just updated the BIOS, but it's still not working as expected.

Have you tried upgrading the BIOS? That might help resolve some compatibility issues. It sounds like your setup should be functioning, so a BIOS update could make a difference.
Double-check the CPU socket for any bent pins. And make sure you have the CPU cooler installed at all times, with the fan plugged into the CPU fan header. It's crucial for proper detection.
Thanks for the tip! I checked the CPU and the pins look fine, and I have a fan connected to the CPU slot. Do you think I also need another fan plugged in? I just have the AIO off to monitor the CPU heating up.
I just updated the BIOS, but it’s still behaving the same way. I'm starting to wonder if it's a CPU or RAM issue instead.
