I've got a frustrating issue with my PC. After unplugging it from the wall, it won't turn on at all. I shut it down properly before unplugging, but now it won't boot or show any signs of life when I plug it back in. This is the second time this has happened—the first time I managed to fix it just by toggling the PSU power switch. This time, though, I've already tried turning off the PSU, unplugging it, and switching to another power outlet, but no luck. Since I'm relatively new to PC building, I'm not sure what else to check. It's a bit cramped in my case and I don't have thermal paste handy, so I'd prefer not to take off the cooler right now. Here are my specs:
CPU: 7700X
GPU: 4080 Super
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32 GB CL36
Mobo: ASRock B650E PG-ITX
PSU: Corsair SF-L SF850L

Have you checked if your motherboard has any idle LEDs? They usually light up when it’s plugged in. If you don’t see anything at all, that’s a sign something's off. Also, it's worth checking if the wall socket you're using is grounded. Sometimes that can cause issues too.
If your plug has a fuse, you might want to test that. Another thing to try is bridging the power pins on your motherboard to see if the power button is faulty. Also, there's the 'paperclip trick' to test if your PSU is working.
Do you happen to have a spare power cable for the PSU? Sometimes the issue could just be with the cable itself.
Did you check if the PSU switch is on? It sounds basic, but sometimes it’s just that!
