My PC Won’t Power On After Replacing the PSU, Should I Replace the Motherboard?

I've just built my first PC, but it's completely unresponsive—no fans, no LEDs, nothing. Before I jump to replacing the motherboard, I would love some advice. I've already tried shorting the two pins to power it on and double-checked that all the cables are connected properly. The switch on the back is also turned on. Here's my build info:

- Motherboard: ROG Strix B550-F WiFi II
- CPU: Ryzen 7 5800X
- GPU: RTX 3060 8GB
- RAM: Netac 32GB 3600MHz
- SSD: Acer Predator GM6 1TB 7200MB
- PSU: MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5

Did you use the new cables that came with your new PSU? I've heard mixed reviews about the MSI MAG PSU being faulty. If possible, consider getting a refund and grabbing a more reliable option, like a Corsair RM750e or a Seasonic model.

Yes, I used all the new cables from the PSU.

Can you clarify what you mean by replacing the PSU? Did you swap it out because the old one was dead, or did it just not turn on? Since this is your first build, it's easy to overlook something. Can you list all the power cables and where you plugged them in? Also, double-check that your outlet is functioning—maybe a breaker tripped or something?

I actually got a free replacement from Amazon, but it still didn't power on. I tried different outlets just in case. Here's how I connected my wires:
- ATX 24-pin is connected above the USB port
- CPU cable is at the top left of the mobo
- PCIe cable is plugged into the 3060
- SATA cable connects to case fans and LEDs

I hope I didn't miss something!
