Hey everyone! I woke up today and tried to start my PC, but it wouldn't turn on at all. No fans are spinning and there aren't any lights coming on, except for a red light next to the CMOS battery. I have a CPU with an LGA socket, so I don't think it's bent pins. I removed the CPU and other than some bad thermal paste spreading, I didn't find any issues with it. I'd really appreciate any help with this! Thanks!

Great news! After re-socketing the CPU and unplugging and replugging all the cables, the issue is fixed! For anyone who encounters this problem in the future, make sure to check all the connections and open up the case to look for anything unusual. Good luck, everyone!
The red light next to the CMOS battery itself doesn’t provide much information. Are there any other lights on the motherboard lighting up, like for the CPU, RAM, or VGA? If nothing is lighting up, it could be a power supply issue. Maybe something happened during the night that caused it to fry.
Just a suggestion, but have you tried pulling out the RAM modules and reseating them? Sometimes that can make a difference!
It sounds like you might not have enough voltage coming from your power supply. Have you tried resetting the BIOS with the jumper? Also, consider changing the battery since that could help. And do you get any beeping sounds when you attempt to power it on?
I didn't notice any other lights, so I guess that makes sense!
